Inclusion & Funding Assistance

 

At ISC, we believe that skating is an activity for everyone, regardless of their circumstances.

We are committed to making our programs accessible to all, which is why we accept funding assistance through various grant programs.

 

 

 

 

 

We accept financial support through the following grant programs.

KidSport

  • KidSport is a local funding assistance program.  Please note that Innisfail falls under the Red Deer County chapter.
  • Applications are available on their website.  Please click here for more information: https://kidsportcanada.ca/alberta/red-deer/
  • Funding from KidSport is accepted for all ISC programs. 

Jumpstart

  • Jumpstart helps kids overcome financial and accessibility barriers to sport and recreation to provide inclusive play for kids of all abilities.

  • Funding from Jumpstart is accepted for all ISC programs.

Alberta Figure Skating Foundation

  • The Alberta Figure Skating Foundation (AFSF) provides financial assistance, scholarships, and resources to skaters, coaches, and clubs to help them achieve their goals.
  • AFSF accepts individual, family and Club memberships, and some of the benefits include discounted rates at AFSF-sponsored clinics, Triple/Quad Gold Awards and summer funding assistance (details are provided on their website).

  • Funding from the AFSF is accepted for all ISC programs.

Town of Innisfail

  • The Town of Innisfail Fee Assistance Program has been made possible by the generous contribution of the Innisfail Solar Corporation/Elemental Energy.
  • You must be a resident of the Innisfail community to apply.

  • Funding from the Town of Innisfail is accepted for all ISC programs.
